BWAHAHAHAHA !! I am wearing one, but you will NEVER see it. No matter who much weight I lose, I reserve the right to keep my bikini in the back yard for tanning purposes. I am enjoying my time at the lake and am going to be spending the day fishing. Have a great day !!

After Stampin' Up! retired their Beautiful Butterflies set, I was so upset, since it retired the year I started. But this is the perfect replacement, because there are so many more options!

My garage sale was a pretty big success. You remember this tote? That was filled with only Stampin' Up! stamps, but when the day was done, everything I had left fit into there! Yep, I do have stuff left, so if you are in the area and want to have a look-see, contact me!
Each one of those flag is put by a tiny tree - Silver Willows. There are now about 250 trees all around our yard, and we decided to take a break for the rest of the year. It is not just the planting, but the laying out of the irrigation hoses, the weeding around the trees, the cultivating in between the rows, etc. It has been a lot of work, and it is done mostly in the evenings, which was my stamping time! We want to keep it black around the trees, so they get the best chance of surviving, and weeds don't look good anyway. This is a graphic of what our yard looks like right now.
This gives you kind of an idea of how large of an area we are working with. I had some other pictures, but I must have deleted them off my San Disk - ARGH!!
I am going to try to keep posting cards in the midst of all the work. But, after 2.5 years of blogging everyday, I think I deserve a break from the daily grind. I hope you will understand, if it is not a constant thing through the summer. Don't give up though, cause I will post every time I get a chance! I may even do some reviews for you, since in more than 1320 posts there may be something you have missed. Time to head outside, have fun and happy stamping!
This is my Control Freaks swap card. I really like how it turned out, and all colors are from the New In Colors - crushed curry, dusty durango and soft suede - all available NOW! Yep, today is the start of the new catalog year, and I am placing a HUGE order today! The stamp set is Autumn Days and it is so perfect for fall and the thanksgiving season.
I would love to link to everything for you, but SU is busy updating the site with all the NEW STUFF - YAY !! I did use my Easy Sunset Tutorial to make the background using a 1 3/8 circle for a moon mask. Dusty Durango is on top, crushed curry on the bottom, and the wheat are stamped in soft suede. The sentiment was stamped in suede on durango, and then punched it out with the new Modern Label. The label punch was used for the suede, and the 1 inch circle for the white. I glued the bottom 2 together, then used my paper piercer to make the holes. I added the sentiment on top with the gold brads.
I added the curry ribbon tab to the image and glued it to my suede and white base. I then added the sentiment with dimensionals. Have fun and happy stamping!! I gotta jet and place my order ... hehehe.

I am SUCH a procrastinator! I need two grad cards. One today, one tomorrow, and I have NO grad stamps!!
So, I designed a card front, that I could print off, mat, color and be done! I also am attaching it here, so you can print it off and make your own, if you should so need one.
All I did was color it with Copics, mat it on ballet blue, and add the silver brads. The rest was done for me! You can use school colors, or for me, gender colors.
I stamped a sentiment on the inside, and I was done. Here is the card front for you.
I do have it sized to fit on a card front , but you may have to fiddle with it, since different programs do different things. You can even change the color of the image in your paint or photo shop programs. Have fun and happy stamping!!

The sentiment is from Three Little Words, and they all fit so perfectly into the new punch. It is at least a 1/4 inch longer than the word window, and a bit wider. You are going to LOVE it!!
