It is Victoria Day on Monday, so we get a long weekend out of the deal!! We are taking this time to head to our cabin with some family, and just relax. 
I will not be replying to any emails while I am gone. Take this time to check out my TUTORIALS, or maybe do a COLOR CONCOCTION or 3. If you craft something, link it back to this post - I would LOVE to come back and see a whole bunch of things you have created!

Here are some more flowers from my lovely Mother's Day bouquet. Does anyone know what kind of flower the yellow one is? I just LOVE the center of it!! Wonder if it would grow in my garden...hmmmm. 
I put in the order last night!! Hopefully everything will be here with in 10 days *fingers crossed, knockin' on wood*. I will then cut everything up, and package it to be mailed out ASAP! I will be charging credit cards today. Those that are combining shipping, I will only charge those fees when I mail it out, so that you aren't overcharged. I had a total of 46 sign up, including those that are coming to my home. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

DVD TIN ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT
Now some cards.
Here is a set of cards I made for one of my technique classes. I followed this tutorial HERE on SCS, and also scalloped the strip with my slit punch.
The green card colors are sage shadow, river rock and handsome hunter. The purple card has pale and perfect plum, elegant eggplant and white. The red card is black white and real red. The stamp sets were Close As A Memory, and Sincere Salutations. I really like how the color almost glows on the card. I don't know why it doesn't show up on the black and red like the rest, but it does do the same thing. I think this would make a nice gift set, since they have basically the same layout with different colors. It also makes it easier to mass produce when you have an idea ready to go. I told you about the photo album that I got from Dylan for Mother's day, and mentioned that I had a picture to share.
That spikey hair just goes so well with the tiara, and the flowers are the perfect finishing touch!! I guess he had seen all the girls in his class playing dress-up, and figured he needed to join in.
All I could think of when I saw the King Of The Grill set by Rupa, was my Dad's grilling apron. He wore it all the time when I was growing up, so I decided to make him a card.
His didn't have the BBQ on it, but a guy in a chef's hat flipping a burger. It did have the red ties and the red stitching, and it did say King Of The Grill. I don't remember if it was a gift from us kids or not, but we sure made him wear it every time he would fire up the BBQ...LOL
I stamped it on with Basic Grey ink, and then colored it in with my markers, using the red marker for the stitching. I used the horizontal punch to add the ribbon on the top. It is a really simple card, but the memories it brings back are many!

No card today, cause I can't pull myself away from the mirror. NO - I am not vain, just shocked at myself.

First time in my ENTIRE life that I have dyed my hair!! I have done hilites for summer, but that is it, and now I color it dark, and chopped it off. Yep, gotta go back to the mirror, I don't know who I am any more.
This is the lovely bouquet I got from my boys, via my Hubby. I absolutely love it. I do like roses, but I more like the wild flower look, lots of variety and colors.
I got a necklace make with green plastic string and a few beads on it. Dylan also gave me a photo album from his memories of preschool this year. There is one picture in there you are going to want to see...LOL.
Dylan's first words that day were, " Happy Mother's Day, I got you a present. Now, what did you get me?" Out of the mouth of babes...
