OK, how many tears have you shed this morning, since the SU retirement list came out?? Though I am actually OK with a lot of them, there is one that I will NEVER give up - Roses In Winter. HOKEY FREAKIN' DINAH, why did they get rid of that one?!?
I had to use it for the color challenge today, just to show it that I was never going to let it go, didn't want it to get a complex...lol. We were supposed to use a combintion of pinks today, as an awareness for Breast Cancer. I used all Stampin' Up! products on this card.
I used regal rose, pretty in pink, always artichoke inks and CS, and very vanilla CS. I sponged the card base in the rose , and stamped the floral in rose on the pink panels. I then notched out 4 of the corners with my ticket corner punch and added the gold brads.
I stamped the rose using the rock and roll technique in pink and rose, the little flowers in pink. I used mellow moss for the big leaf, and artichoke for all the rest. I stamped the sentiment in artichoke and the sponged the edge in rose. I then notched those corners and matted it on pink and artichoke. I added the brads and mounted this on dimensionals.
I am really going to miss demoing this set, it was a HUGE seller for me and everyone loved the look it gives! I can tell you for certain - I won't be selling it anytime soon!!
Here is the retired list, if anyone wants to print it off, so you can go through your catalog and mark down those things that are going :
Remember (for my customers), the 10% credit starts now till the end of June! Have fun and happy stamping!
