Another day, another challenge. Today, we were to make a get well card with no flower stamps, or paper, but we could use primas, or flower punches. Well, I decided to play it safe, and leave them off completely. Hope you like what I came up with.
I stamped the bird from Natural Beauty with black stazon on white. I watercolored him with my aqua painter and the river and bayou colors. I watercolored the ground with close to cocoa and chocolate chip, and sponged the soft sky. I stamped the sentiment (Quick Thinking) with my black SU marker, using the stamp-a-ma-jig to line it up, since I split it up. I matted this on bayou, sky and black, before added the Making Memories antique copper brads.
I stamped the sky with french script in the same ink, and the bayou with the word BG in Natural Beauty, with bayou. I sponged all the edges in the bayou, and added the faux piercing with the mat pack on the sky before adding my ribbons, the black is SU and the sky ribbon is unknown. I matted this on the black and then added my copper brads in the corners. I added my main image with dimensionals.
I am going away this weekend for the Canada Day celebrations. I want to thank everyone for all the posts and emailed well wishes for my son, they were truly appreciated. Have a great weekend everyone, and happy stamping!!
