Here is the Out Of The Box tutorial for you. I hope it clears up some of the questions I have been receiving.
First you stamp your image and do all the coloring. Next you decide what is going to be in the "box". I wanted most of the kitty to be in the box, so I drew my first line (pencil)on the left side. I measured over 1.5 inches, and marked the top and bottom. I held my ruler over the two marks, so I could draw my line. I never went over any images, but where there was nothing, I did keep the line going.
Here, I got out my scissor, and cut on the line. I went around the tail, since this was out of my boxed area. Be sure to be very careful when cutting, since you don't want to snip off part of your image.
When you mat your image on CS, you need to mat it to the box. In this case, my mat was 1 5/8 X 4 1/8. You let the images that are not in your "box" hang over with no mat! It makes the image look more 3D.
Have fun and happy stamping!!
