I just found this, and decided to show it to y'all. I got a plain canvas bag and stamped on it using craft ink in the colors old olive, more mustard, ruby red and chocolate chip. I stamped the flourish from Baroque Motifs across the top and bottom, adding some flowers. I then stamped my initial with the square motif and the flower on each side.
I then heat set it with my heat tool till dry, and then ironed over it putting paper towel between the iron and the bag. This was to make sure the ink was set. Hope you like it, have fun and happy stamping!!

Great stuff.
I just found your blog and love it.
Look forward to reading more.

Julie - I think you made this bag for me. I have the same initials. Great idea. I have in my stash, some canvas fabric. It may be much heavier than your bag fabric. I only have 2 colors of Craft SU ink, so here is a question for you? DO YOU THINK THAT WATERBASED PAINT WOULD WORK? I am afraid it may wash out. HELP!!!
I want to make a special bag for myself to use in Vegas while attending my son's wedding this summer. They made their own invitations in red, black and white - so I'd like to use these colors.
Thanks
Joanne

Wonderful bag Julie. Our local dollar store had some of those type bags...will have to see if they still do as they would make great gifts for Christmas this year!!! Thanks so much for the great idea. Hope your time away went well and you thought up some more of your terrific card ideas. We sure need those ideas, speaking for a lot of us who are in a creative rut. evette

Absolutely wonderful. How about making me one to take to work and carry my stuff in? I love your blog and send the link to all my stamping buddies. Did you know (this is for everyone) you can also heat set it in the dryer? You don't need to use a heat tool. Just let it dry for 24 - 48 hours then throw it in the dryer on high setting.
