I had so much fun with this set! I thought of a couple ideas, and I just HAD to get them on CS. First off, is snorkeling Lulu.
I cut my frames in the card with my rectangle nestabilities from All That Scraps (ATS). I stamped the sentiment and the fish/starfish all over the bashful blue CS in the same ink. I wanted it to be like looking into an aquarium, so, I brayered a piece of acetate with bashful blue ink, and put it between the 2 layers of CS.
Lulu is stamped on the inside of the card and colored in with markers. I also decided to add the clear daisy dew drops on the bottom kinda like bubbles.
I was talking on the phone with AmyR while trying to get this made, and she can tell you that I threw away 3 cards before I cut those frames right! Man, I had a tough time with that. Honestly though, it was easy, but my blond roots got in the way...hehehe. First you cut the blue layer, use a temporary glue to hold it on the white. Then center the die on the white underneath and run it through the Cuttlebug, easy peasy!
Now the next card was the really fun one for me!!
OK, the reason the extra monkeys are on the right side...THIS IS A TILT CARD!! The little guy in the tube is actually riding the waves - I am totally freakin' out here. I cannot believe that my mojo let me make something so KA-UTE!!
So anyway, I took some K&CO. DP, since it looked like waves to me, and cut it along one of the curves. I sponged the top of my ATS white CS, to make the clouds. I used a scallop circle and soft sky ink, and then glued the DP over top. I punched out a 1/2 circle and then traced around it in the middle of the "waves", cutting it out.
I stamped each of the images, colored them and cut them out. I glued Lucky right onto the card, but I put the monkey's head onto a penny. I then added a couple dimensionals (stuck one on top of each other) to that. This went through the hole and then another penny added to the back of that, so he tilts in the "waves".
I then added the Liquid Applique to the top of the DP and under the surf board, for a realistic feel. I drew with my clear Atyou glitter pen on all the curves on the DP, so they would sparkle like the water. I stamped the sentiment on the top, and added the $1 adhesive jewels to the side. This was all added to the bayou blue CS base with dimensionals. Is it cute, or am I imagining this one?
Now, head over to the ATS blog, and see what the other Design Team members have done with their stamps, and leave a comment to the this set for FREE! Have fun and happy stamping!!

Julie:
I had to buy this set after I saw your Lulu card. My boyfriend is a scuba diving who is also a Leo the Lion and hopefully I'll be able to copy this card.

That brayered acetate window is such a cool idea, I'm going to use that technique on an exchange card my stamp club is doing with a Starfish and Mermaids theme. Thanks for sharing!

What a great idea you had to brayer the acetate with the blue before sandwiching it! And what can I say about your tilt card; it's just amazingly creative and so darn cute!
