Since most of the ladies in the States have received their cards, I can post the picture of the card that I made for the last swap. I chose the set, Winter Post, and I wanted to try for a vintage feel. I don't know why, I am not usually drawn to these types of images, but this one called to me.
First thing I did was cut out my Kraft CS with the Top Note Die from Stampin' Up! I then stamped the sentiment in close to cocoa, and riding hood red. I drew a line down the center with my cocoa marker, and then added the skaters on the other side. I stamped off the night of navy snowflakes before adding them as well.
This was then layered onto the navy CS, which had been distressed with my cutter kit *love that little tool*. I added the ribbon to the vary vanilla base, and then attached the rest with dimensionals. There is 30 cards in this picture, and they all look the same - AWESOME...hehehe.
Oh yeah, on the women's skirt and the man's mitts, toque (hat), and scarf, I blended the ink with my aqua painter right after I stamped it. All these links will lead you to my SU Online Store, since this card is made with exclusively Stampin' Up! product. Have fun and happy stamping!!
