I have a BIG Christmas supper here this evening. I wanted to make something to grace each place setting, but not the traditional way. So I head down to my craft room, and started stamping.
I made a napkin for each person, and it will go on the plate at the spot where they are to sit.
This is IMPORTANT - you must use a waterproof ink for this, otherwise when they wipe their face, they would have ink everywhere...hehehe. I stamped my holly berry, leaves, and poinsettias with Pallette Noir ink. I then colored them with Sharpies, and added a touch of gold with my Ziggy paint pen.
Here is my napkin close-up. I used my JustRite products for personalizing the napkins. I took my JustRite Harmony Oval block, and added the names with the Trompe and Brayton fonts. You can get them at at All That Scraps, as well as JustRite Stampers.
I'll try and take a picture after everything is set up on my table - hopefully I won't be too frazzled and forget . Such an easy way to make an impression, and SO CHEAP, I used $1 store napkins. Have fun and happy stamping!!
