I had fun with this card. I took me awhile to get it right, but not because I didn't know what to do. I have a table at a craft sale tonight, so I have been SOOOOO busy getting ready for that. I am selling the cards that I have made for my blog, so they are all pretty much one-of-a-kind. I have about 300 cards to sell, and that takes a lot of work when a person makes card fronts! By the way, I will be selling them at the Dalmeny arena tonight during the hockey game, if you are at all interested.
OK - now to the card.
Awwwww, I know, so adorable! This is one of the Gingersnap images from All That Scraps. This is the digi stamps (Only $5 and no shipping charges), but you can also get the rubber HERE, if that is what you prefer.
So, I printed her off, colored her with Copics and cut her out. I love that my printer ink does not smear when I am coloring! I made a frame with my nesties and accented it with my white gel pen. My card base was white, rose red and some retired Stampin' Up! DP. I added the frame with dimensionals, and then "sat" her in the frame with more dimensionals.
My pop-up card tutorial is HERE, but I am posting the template to make the gift card HOLDER on this post. You can glue anything to the tab in the middles, but putting a gift card holder on it is perfect for the gifts that need to go far away.
This one has a birthday sentiment stamp stamped on it, but you could do Christmas, graduation, baby shower, bridal shower, you name it!
So, here is the template.
