I got my Internet back!!
Just thought I'd let you know that the posts will be coming more often now that I got myself hooked up again. It turns out there was a broken wire, but they ran a new one and I am back to typing. I tell ya, I haven't made so many cards in just a few days in a long time. When there is no computer, you sure can stamp more 
.
Christine, the owner of All That Scraps, and the designer of the CC Designs stamps issued a challenge to her design team. Make a card using no winter / Christmas paper, but use snowflakes in your design. I used the paper furthest away from winter that I could find.
Not sure which company it is, but the CS is from WorldWin paper. I colored the little Snow Bunnie with my Copics, and sponged the edges with Sahara sand. The snowflake punch is a Martha Stewart punch and it is attached with a Sugar Coated brad.
The ribbon is a metallic purple ribbon by May Arts. I really like the shimmery look, but yet it is still see through. Finally, I added some Icicle Sticklesto her boot cuffs, her scarf and pom pom on her hat.
I left it without a sentiment on the front, so I could stamp one on the inside when I need a quick card. Have fun and happy stamping!!

No, I have not gotten hurt or sick or anything. Our internet went down the day of my last post, and so far, there is no immediate hope for getting it back up - ARGH!! You may not have any idea how frustrating that is for me, but I missed being on here A LOT.

OK - I serve 2 different kinds of perogies when I make them for supper ~ potato and cheddar, and strawberry. There are way more fruit ones to make than potato ones. I hate getting them mixed up, so I put the potato ones in a Ziploc Freezer bag after punching the bottom with my 1/4 circle punch (yes, craft tools work in the kitchen ~ yet another reason to start crafting!!).
I put them on top of the others when it started boiling and just kept them in the pot. I stirred them in the pot just like the others, but they were just in the bag. They were done at the same time as the ones not in the bag, and it works like a charm.

I have all the pictures taken for the tutorial, but it is just too much work to get it on tonight. My sister got here from Calgary, so I have spent the evening visiting with her. She is also staying to watch the kids open gifts in the morning, so I don't know when I will get a chance to get one again. Just think, you will have a really good idea for the next birthday that comes up...hehehe.
I was going to do this, since I have to make another box. I never made one for the first one, since I wasn't sure it was going to work. I will be working on it this evening!
You know there are some folks that you are going to give a gift card to. It just ends up that way, but who says you can't make it an actual "gift".
I designed a little box today, since I have 2 gift cards to give away this year. I wanted them to be able to open something, and put it under the tree. It is also NOT just a card. Here is a shot of the top of the box.
Isn't it perfect ?!? I even made a matching bow with ribbon cut in strips. I added the tag with removable adhesive, so that it can be taken off and the box can be used again. So, now we can give a "gift" and not just a gift card. Have fun and happy stamping!!

Aren't they cute? Besides loving this color combo - riding hood red, pink pirouette, close to cocoa and chocolate chip, I love this new DP. I really like how you can cut strips and it looks like it already has the stitching on it!
I made my scallop square with the scallop edge punch, and sponged the edges with cocoa. The edge of the pink was sponged and faux stitched, and then the paisley (SOON RETIRED) BG was stamped on it.
The birds wings both have dazzling diamonds on them, and the heart above them was popped up. The hearts to the right were also popped up, and the red one got the diamonds as well. I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Hugs and Wishes, and thought it would make a cute wedding or shower card.
