Oh congrats Julie...I too am working on my first scrapbook. Not finished as yet. Wish me luck. Love what you did and I agree ya do not need "tons" of embellishments. Keep up the great work ya hear. How is that weather doing? Still minus?

I have NO IDEA what all those initials stand for in the comments and your dialogue, but I'm sure it was a most enjoyable time in your life. I just wanted to congratulate you for finishing the scrapbook. It looks like wonderful layouts. I like the idea of scrapbooks centering on photos and journaling, rather than embellishments. Your pockets look like a terrific addition.

How fun to find out that you are a Ywamer. =) I've been reading your blog for over a year and I love it. I never really comment so this one is part of my new goal for 2009 - comment more to show my appreciation.
I did my DTS and SBS in England back in 95 and 97. It changed my life and got me a husband. lol He's American and I'm from Sweden. Now we live in Portland, Oregon.
I like the way your scrapbook turned out too. Simple with all the photos in one place. So nice. Thank you for blogging!

Wait a MINUTE! YOU were in Hawaii with Ywam in '98???!!!??? ME TOO!!! Where were you? Did you do a DTS? You weren't in mine, were you? How funny would that be? My memory is bad enough that it's actually possible. Sad, huh? Oh, wait, I think your previous post said Korea. I did my DTS at King's Mansion on the big island in July-Nov of '98. We went to the Philippines for our outreach. I'd love to hear about your time there! What a small world!
