Kitchen tools to the rescue!! I bought one of the Pampered Chef rotary tool caddies for my Copics, after I realized the one in my kitchen would work perfectly for the job! It is not even full yet, so I have room to buy more...hehehe.

Copics can be stored any way you want. Other markers have a long ink absorbent mechanism in them, or those plastic tubes, that if they are stored any way but horizontal they would dry out, especially on the up end pointing up. I also store all of my ink pads, Glues, upside down- I don't have to stick pins in them, or have any bad stamping images with the pads. Back to copics. The unique make-up of the alcohol in them allows them to be stored any way. It is like the mixing palette I have to get custom colors, some of them have been on it for a yr. or more & can be used by touching with the blending solution or a copic marker. They are just a very unique marker, & only one I know of where you can go back to an image you want to alter that was done years ago & it is just like you had colored the whole image right then & do any changes you want to it. I hope this made sense.
Hugs,
Julia B.

Hey, Julie! I have amassed 100 Copic markers so far and need some type of storage device. How many does this one hold?
BTW, this is Paula from your Isagenix team!

When you buy a set of copics they come stored horizontal and I have mine that way and they work fine. How many markers do you have in the turnaround now?

I have the SU markers and I keep them in a Huggies wipe box that I decorated and its adorable. I've kept my Copic's in 3 different bags and if this had a handle I would be on it in a heartbeat since I carry mine around alot. I'm also a certified Copic's instructor and the Copic's can be stored standing up as the share the body of the pen where the ink is stored. I have stored mine standing up and never had a problem.
Thanks for the idea of the Paper Chef though I really love it.
God Bless,
Jeanine

The copic markers are airtight and can not dry out if the lid is on, no matter how they're stored. Also, you can always re-fill them. Just passing on something I learned from Copic instructor Marianne at ilikemarkers.blogspot.com

Yes, this is a good idea. I ran out of room so ended up buying the plastic containers for them.

i was always told horizontal as well both from stamp it up, close to my heart and creative memories consultants.

Good question about storing them vertically. I keep mine horizontally in a plastic storage box.

I'm in total agreement with Amanda and Louise about the markers being horizontal in storage mode. I don't know how to get a post going at SCS to ask this, or get this conversation going!!! Julie, it is a great idea, though.....

Yeah, it is a good idea, but I've always heard to store dbl ended markers horizontal, as Amanda, the previous girl commented. Can you fill us in on what you know about that?

Hey, I also have a Tool turn around but aren't your copics double ended? Aren't you worried about one end drying out? OR is that an old wives tale? LOL I don't puy mu SU markers in it because I'm afraid they'll dry one end out. Maybe that's just silly..just thought I'd ask! :)
