This is my Control Freaks swap card. I really like how it turned out, and all colors are from the New In Colors - crushed curry, dusty durango and soft suede - all available NOW! Yep, today is the start of the new catalog year, and I am placing a HUGE order today! The stamp set is Autumn Days and it is so perfect for fall and the thanksgiving season.
I would love to link to everything for you, but SU is busy updating the site with all the NEW STUFF - YAY !! I did use my Easy Sunset Tutorial to make the background using a 1 3/8 circle for a moon mask. Dusty Durango is on top, crushed curry on the bottom, and the wheat are stamped in soft suede. The sentiment was stamped in suede on durango, and then punched it out with the new Modern Label. The label punch was used for the suede, and the 1 inch circle for the white. I glued the bottom 2 together, then used my paper piercer to make the holes. I added the sentiment on top with the gold brads.
I added the curry ribbon tab to the image and glued it to my suede and white base. I then added the sentiment with dimensionals. Have fun and happy stamping!! I gotta jet and place my order ... hehehe.
OMG! I love that wheat set...card is great as well.

Love all the new stuff on your card!!
I do have a question unrelated to this - I've seen some Whiff of Joy stamps you've used and just love some of the images. I ordered 2 of the medieval collection and never had just red rubber delivered. (I've only ordered SU stamps before). So are you supposed to mount the rubber on EZ Mount or do something else with it?
Also, there are more Whiff of Joy stamps I want to order, but had a bad experience with this order. Do you order from WoJ in Switzerland or from somewhere else?

Love the card Julie...I have 48 stamp sets I want from the new catalog!!!! Think I better trim that down a bit..yup. Wish I could get them all plus the new ribbons, ds, dp, etc. etc. Love the new in-colors this year. But I sure will be ordering soon. Tee hee hee. Keep up your great ideas for us to copy!!!! ekc
