I am SO IN LOVE with this card, the original idea is not mine, though. I somewhat CASEd it off of the cover of the summer mini, with stamps that I actually have in my hands. This color combo ROCKS, as well. Melon Mambo (or hot sexy pink), bashful blue, sahara sand and white. It is so lovely and soft and perfect for spring, but that punch of pink really sets it apart.
The what and sahara layers were sponged with sahara ink, and the bashful blue was spritzed with the coordinating marker. I then stamped the A TO Z in the bottom corner in sahara, to fill the blank area.
The flourish from Baroque Motifs was embossed in clear and then sponged with white, to make it stand out, but also to soften it. I added 3 half pearls from the pretties kit, and the silver hodge podge. The butterfly is from Bigz Beautiful Butterflies die and stamped with the flower sprig from Friends 24-7. The taffeta ribbon is also a nice little embellishment, too. Try this combo, I think you will really like it. Have fun and happy stamping!!
