I stamped a WHOLE LOT on the weekend, and then promptly forgot to blog about it! What is up with that? Well, I did have a great weekend with the kids, since the hubby was out snowmobiling for about 4 days. I really enjoyed having the VSN to kick the stamping into high gear. I feel bad for all my American friends who lost the Gold Medal hockey game, but YAY for Canada!!
It has been very red here in our house. Dylan has to have red sprinkles on his cereal, and strawberry instead of chocolate milk. Considering we only saw the last 5 minutes of the entire game, I have to think he is just proud to be Canadian!
To be honest, I saw a total of about 1 hour of the entire Olympic games. I don't watch much TV, only a few certain shows. They are PVR, or DVRed whatever you want to call it, so I can watch them all in one sitting and be done. The Olympics just messed that up for me ... LOL. I do love sports, but would rather play then watch. Oh, well. It was good to have a new episode of Two-And-A-Half Men, and Big Bang Theory last night, though
.
OK, enough rambling, let's get a card up here for you!
This was for the Inukshuk sketch at the VSN Olympics. I just turned it on the side to play, and Voila! a quick card. Yet another flower - I think I may be obsessed- this one with the Extra Large Fancy Flower in the not-so Mini Catalog. I just stamped a simple sentiment for the front and punched it out with the modern label, so that the inside could be used for anything. The DSP is from the Sweet Pea pack. I can truly say, I have really gotten my use of of that one!
Well, today is a laundry day, and so I better get started. I tend to put that off until everyone only has 2 pair of underwear left. So now, I make sure I have a good 2 weeks supply ... hehehe. Have fun and happy stamping!!

My sister sent me over to your blog to look at flowers. Oh my!! How awesome! Your samples are great and the tutortial made is so easy to make the flowers. Thanks for sharing this fabulous idea!

I love what you did with the ribbon on this one Julie! What a nice way to change it up.
Linda, I love your comment. That's what I like sports to sound like. I say yay for both teams. It showed it really was the best against the best, a well matched game.

I do love your cards, but I wanted to mention the hockey game. I live in Ohio, but I am glad Canada won. You were the host country (and a darn good one), and hockey is your game. Both teams were great, but I'm glad you won.
