Many of you know that I have been on Isagenix since April of 2009. It helped me regain energy, feel better and lose a ton of weight (63 lbs). I enjoy feeling better about myself, even mentally, as I can find clothes that fit. I was feeling good at about 165lbs.
I am a stress eater, though, and while I have continued on with Isagenix, I have been stressed. I was also eating a lot of JUNK. I hate that I allowed this this back in my home, as it was all cleaned out. I did not even buy Halloween candy this year, but the boys brought a TON in, and of course, I share *wink*.
I am back up to 180lbs, which is a 15lb gain. I am actually not as mad about it as you may think. Fact is, had I not been on Isagenix for the past year and learn how to eat, I would have gained a LOT more. So, I need some accountability, since my hubby is no longer here to encourage me in this. (And he was SO GOOD in that way - never made me feel bad about my weight, but kept me in check.)
So, I am letting you know that I am trying to be back on it like I was in the beginning. Snacking is kept to fruits and veggies (yes, I will still be snacking!!), and my meal of the day will be whatever I want! I will be measuring myself as well, to keep track of inches lost. I have a totally of 20lbs to get to my previous goal (which I never reached, I was happy being 5 lbs away). I have set a goal for mid-January, since I am going to Miami, FL to visit a friend and take the boys to DisneyWorld. I will keep you informed to my progress bi-weekly. If you want to join me, I would welcome some friends journeying with me. Isagenixtruly saved me, and I would not recommend ANYTHING that I did not believe in. You can join my facebook group HERE, and become my FRIEND. Here is just one of the greatest successes that I had a small part in!
Here's to my (and your) health.

Julie, I think you have done amazingly well to gain only 15 pounds. I, too, am a stress eater and I have gained back almost all of the 100+ pounds I had lost while going through a very nasty divorce over the past two years. You can do it!!! I am getting back on the wagon in January.

I think I may join you since we also plan to visit a hot spot this winter.....but I am such a carbaholic.....if I see the weigh scale showing I've lost a couple pounds I reward myself with more carbs! aaah!! A 10 pound weight loss would be great.

Congrats on the decision to get that extra weight off again..if anyone had a reason to stress eat surely you had...whilst I won't be using your method I too have decided that from tomorrow 1st December I am started to eat healthily again....for the past two months I've not been doing so and it all started with a holiday in October. I hate myself for what I've done in the last two months..of course I 'enjoyed' myself eating at the time but it has a price I don't want to pay. I still want to fit into what clothes I have as I disposed of all the things which no longer fitted and I certainly cannot afford to buy more. On the days when I can't get out to walk I will workout at home, basic moving about, nothing too strenuous for me as I'm an oldie compared to you...but even simple stuff keeps one supple. We are all with you on this and join you in your quest for a slimmer and healthier body more able to cope with life's ups and downs. All the best.

I was just snooping over at your page on facebook yesterday because I, too, am needing to get back on the wagon. I guess the wagon is going to be kind of full, so I hope you have a big tractor to pull it! We can do it!!

Oh how I dislike hearing that word stress. Right now I am a living example of stress and eating is my outlet. Happy that you got on that wagon before it pulled away. I think that I had better do that as well. It seems like the flood gates are opening on me and I am sinking down.

I'm back at it too after regaining many of the 45 lbs I lost last fall/winter from slacking and eating alot of junk too. Tired of feeling sick & tired (and fat) all the time again so I'm more than ready to get Isagenix back into my life full time. So, you'll have company on this journey! Happy shakes, health, and weight loss to both of us!
