I created this card for the Inspiration Challengeover at SCS on Saturday. I headed over to the site they suggested for our inspiration, and found THIS RUG. Here is the card that I created.
You can click on the pictures for a closer look, but I just used some of the Deck The Halls DSP (#120810). Makes a simple card, but by cutting out the poinsettias and raising them, it created a 3D card. I also added some dazzling diamonds(#102023), the white stuff you see on the petals, and also some adhesive pearls(#119247).
The base of the card is bravo burgundy and that helps with the 3D look of the flowers. I also ran my burgundy marker on the cut edge, so there would be no white showing. The sentiment is from the Four The Holidays(#116921) set and is stamped in Early Espresso. I know it is quite simple, but I wanted the DSP to do all that work ... hehehe. Tootles, have fun and happy stamping!!

Gorgeous, Julie! I love the rich elegance of burgundy!

So pretty. Love the pearls and the sparkle and how the raised poinsettia's create a

Julie, I love this card and I really want to get into doing the challenges more regularly. I'm going to "redo" my craft/guest room -- so I'm going to check yours out! Do you have any suggestions for stamp storage?
