One of my favorite quotes is

The smallest deed is better than the grandest intention.

This is so, so true!

Hi Julie,
How sweet is that? Yesterday a Mom of one of the kids from the Children's Church I direct stopped me to thank me for all I do for the kids! She said she knows how much her stepson loves coming and how much my input means in his life. Totally made my night! We all need reminders to lift others up however and whenever we can. Thanks for the reminder!

Patti J.

I agree, and the unexpected things are so much fun! Thanks for sharing!

I think it's the little things that create the magic moments of pure happy, that touch our hearts forever. :)

Awww! How nice!

I received one too! It is a very sweet thought! I'm glad it helped to brighten your day :)

cute idea!

Donna H.

Thanks for the reminder.

I got one too and was very excited to see it! I was happy to see that someone took the time to stamp it, even though it wasn't much.

I got the same one, too! Made my day!

How lovely! Just that little extra personal touch that makes you feel special! So many simple things we can do...a card in the mail or mailbox, a blog comment, or even just a simple smile! Thanks for the reminder Julie! :o)

It sure doesn't take much Julie, to make someone feel special. Once in a while, I will pay for the person's coffee order who is behind me in the Tim Horton's drive-thru line and I have actually had people chase me down and honk and wave to thank me. It's just a coffee but it was done with caring. Makes me feel good too!

Becky Jo

You are right, Julie! It doesn't take much to put a smile on someones face. I have a quote I try to live by: Always be a little kinder than necessary. ~James M. Barrie does make a difference! Big Hugs!!

Terry Molineux it your birthday? they were told at leadership that you would receive a card and then on your order in your birthday month you would get an additional 20% off your order. I have been receiving boxes all week and nothing in mine! Lucky you!
