I decided to do some more ink embossing. EVERY other time I have done it, I have used a color on white, so I decided to try something different. I used the TUTORIAL HERE to get the look I was going for. Here is the end result.
I embossed pink pirouette textured CS black ink (turns deep purple in the embosing folder, since it can't get saturated). I then made the card with elegant eggplant base, white and then cut along the embossed flowers to get the look. I added the white sating ribbon and the pink brads for extra embellishing, but not too much to take away from the look. The sentiment is the final touch.
Little Tip : Have your Stampin' Mist ready to spray off your embossing folder as soon as it comes out of the Big Shot. I sprayed it off at the sink and then washed it with dish soap, and there was no staining of my folder.
I think the is a really neat technique - kind of like a dry embossed Joseph's Coat. I think it would also look pretty neat on DSP with a bigger pattern.Tootles, have fun and happy stamping!!

It's a very striking and elegant card. Love it.
