I have seen a lot of stamping with the clear blocks since they came out and I finally decided to try my hand at it. Since this technique lends itself best to a one layer card, or a clean and simple style, I decided to make the card suited for that - a guys card !
I used pool party and island indigo on my blocks to stamp them down. I used the Extreme Guitar for my guy and the Extreme Elements in grey (stamped off) for some added interest. I decided to layer it on indigo for a nice base. I think this is a great way to pump out cards, say for birthday invitations, quick thank you cards, easy mailing Christmas cards. Change the colors and the images, and this creates a multitude of options - try it today. Tootles, have fun and happy stamping!!

Check out the company's website - what do the pictures of employees show you? Match that style and you'll prove to the interviewer you fit into the culture.

Hi Julie,
Nice use of the blocks, and I really like the grey elements. Very cool and easy guy card ~ gotta love that! I also love the idea to change up the colors and stamps for multiples!
HUGS and TFS!

OH! Wow! So simple, yet so great! Totally reminds me of making potato stamps as kids. Kind of a texturized look from the clear block. You are so amazing. I don't comment on your cards very often anymore, but still always check them out. I appreciate your creativity. We are about to have twins, just as our youngest turns 10 years old, so my stamping will have to take a turn for the simpler ways if it is to continue. Love this idea. TFS.

I had no idea that could be done with the blocks, great effect. One I have to try since I don't like plain backgrounds.
