So, I did my first SplitCoast Stampers in FOREVAH !! Wanna see, huh, huh, huh ?!?
Sorry about the somewhat washed out photo, the black background really brings out the white, it seems. I went for 2 challenges on this card - the color (CC403) and the sketch (SC413).
The colors were real red, basic gray and gumball green, which I though were perfect for Christmas. The sketch was a perfect layout for the stamp set I wanted to use, Snow Much Fun. I had fun with the image, coloring was always my favorite technique and I really missed it. I used my markers, darker and lighter for the shading, and then sponged a sky in with bashful blue over a leftover cutout of a label framelit - made the perfect clouds! I pierced around the red frame, but faux stitched around the green layer. I also wanted to play off the striped DSP and ran the basic gray through striped embossing folder. The final touch was glitter on the tree and snowman. I really enjoyed stamping a challenge, and may even start doing them more often. Have fun and happy stamping!!
