I started a card class, and half of the girls have never really stamped before, so I am going back to the basics. I need to show them how to make gorgeous cards, without all the special gadgets, because they don't have those at home yet !! They need a chance to get there, but in the meantime, deserve to know what they can do with what they have at home already. This card is one of those basic cards.
This is done with basic masking and stamping, that's it. I cut my mask to be 1 1/2 inches wide and used the Dotto removable adhesive to hold it down. I then took a new stamp, Secret Garden (Clear : 129144), from the new mini and stamped over it. I used certainly celery, regal rose and so saffron. The sentiment came from Blessings from Heaven (Clear : 123052). I got this idea from a snowflake card on Pinterest. I wanted more color, and this would be great for a birthday card, as well.
Sometimes going back to the basics is a nice change. Have fun and happy stamping!!

LOVE IT!

I love the card and also that you're showing them you can make a card inexpensively. Not too many people can spend $500 up to start making cards!

Very pretty card. When they realize all the great cards they can make with only a few items they will be thrilled...however when they start using all the different tools they are going to be over the top! Good luck with Your new group of people!
