All That Scraps Review Preview

I got a phone call from my sister.  It seems her little girl got into her makeup, her blush was in 5 million pieces, and her lipstick was almost gone.  So, when I was coloring my image, I thought of her and had to make this card.

  Her cheeky grin and the way she is trying to look so innocent, makes me smile.  I colored her with Copics, and added the extra "makeup" to her little face.  This image is from the Chubby Pencil Line.

Shy Kiki La Rue

 When I see this image, I just want to give her a hug!  She looks so shy, but her eyes are asking for a friend.  This is Shy Kiki La Rue from All That Scraps, and this card is for the ATS Challenge.

The challenge this week was to use an older image, and since I had not yet had a chance to ink this one up (from August!!!), she is even kinda new ... hehehe.

I colored her with Copics and and cut her out with the long scallop nesties.  I also used the Flower Creations die to make the flowers on the bottom.  I absolutely LOVE that die, because it is perfect for customization!!

Amy R Christmas Words Preview

You  are actaully getting TWO peeks here today.  The sentiment is from Amy's new Christmas Words, and the cutie tangled in the lights is from Christmas Time.  These will both be available at All That Scraps on November 2.

I used more traditional colors for this card - glorious green and ruby red.  I made a flag for my sentiment to cover a boo-boo ... hehehe.

  I colored the image with Copics, and then covered the bulbs with Crystal Effects.  You can see here how they shine.  I also punched out a vellum snowflake, covering it in stickles.  Click on the picture for a closer view.

Country Shelf Preview - All That Scraps

I made a trio of cards with Diane's newest set.   These images are going to be perfect for all of you "Inchie" lovers, there are 15 images that are perfect for punching out!  There is also 8 sentiments and a shelf/table to put them on.  It will be released over at All That Scraps on November 2.

Here are the close up shots.  I punched out shapes to sponge over and create the dimension.  I added the adhesive pearl to the heart, the glossy accents on the cat (to look like porcelain kitty), and stickles on the flower center.  I really think the sponging made the cards!  Try it sometime.

Happy For You...

On your birthday!  I had a review yesterday for All That Scraps, and since this set  was also up for the day, I thought I'd share it today. 

This is the Birthday Bash set, as well as a sentiment from AmyR's Congrats Sentiments.

Did you know that you can get edible glitter for on your cupcakes- I KNOW!!  So awesome!  So, then I had to cover the icing in stickles (Click on it for a better look).  I also added the Ghost Flower for a little something extra.

I pierced the sentiment panel, added the ribbon, and the image was attached with dimensionals.  I really like how it turned out.

I'm still working on my room, and will post pics tomorrow hopefully.  Sunday is going to be a big day, since we have our church's Grand Opening.  It has been growing A LOT lately and we just needed a new sanctuary, and Sunday School rooms.  Have fun and happy stamping!

Angel Emma Review

Yes, I got to stamp a little this morning, but my room is still a mess.  The old desk that you saw in yesterday's post is still sitting in the center of the room and won't be moved until tonight.  Hence (thought I'd throw that word in there...hehehe), I have to work around it and can't get to everything.

  Since I don't have my photo area up yet, either, I had to makeshift something for photographing the card.  Still, the sweetness of the images still come through.  These are from the Angel Emma set.

I paper pieced the trumpet with some gold paper, and added some primas to the top.  As you can tell, I am really into the pearls lately, but the look perfect on Christmas cards.

Thanksgiving Sparkle

Today is another Review Preview Day for All That Scraps.  I chose to use my Thanksgiving Digi Set.  Since it is a digital set, you have it the moment you pay for it, AND no shipping charges!!

  I wanted a vintage feel to the card, so I colored it with subdued colors and then went over everything with my E31 Copic.  The sentiment comes in black, but I changed the color to always artichoke to match the softer feel of  the card.

  After I had put it all together, I felt that there was still something missing. Review Preview - Reason for the Season

 It is review time again, and I decided to put a vintage feel on this card. The colors are not typically Christmas, but I think it works really well with the way I colored this image.

The Reason For The Season is now available at All That Scraps, as well as AmyR's Christmas Sentiments.

The colors are always artichoke, creamy caramel and Basic Grey Wassailpaper.  The image was colored with Copics  and then sponged with creamy caramel.  This card is 5 X 5 square.

Thanksgiving Blessings - All That Scraps Preview

  

Isn't this the coolest idea ??  A little drawer bow with the card on top!!  I think it would make an awesome place setting, and people could write their thanks on little notes and keep them in the box.  Or, you could have the after dinner mints tucked inside.

I found the idea HERE, but I could not understand out her measurements, I figured it out on my own.  Mine is different, since hers is not square.

The image and the sentiment is from the final Paper Pleasing Digi set.  With the New Stampin' Up! regulations, I will not be creating anymore sets for you.  I made sure the last one was a good one though, and it will be released tonight over at All That Scraps!

Angel Emma Preview - All That Scraps

  This is the set that I am in *heart* with.  There are 3 angels in this set, plus 2 sentiments taken from traditional Christmas carols.  The sentiment I used for this card, though came from Diane's set, that I previewed HERE.

I used some of the new Stampin' Up! DSP in the (not-so)Mini Catalog.  The pattern is a metallic gold color, so perfect for the holidays. I saved all my Soft Sky product (retired In Color) and pulled it out for this card.  I love the softness of the blue with the shimmer of the gold.  It looks so pretty in real life.

I colored the angel with Copics, and highlighted a few words in the sentiment, as well.  Her halo and belt were colored with the Gold Spica Glitter pen.
