So, Friday morning, I got in the car and drove to my niece's house. Here she is...
Yep, only 4 years younger than me, though she is related through marriage. We drove just over 5 hours to Edmonton for a really large upline meeting, there were 180 of us there. It was awesome, great demos, lovely people and one lady said she read my blog and loved my hair (Thanks Lisa *wink*)!
I had another agenda for going to Edmonton, besides shopping (Ummm, world's LARGEST mall - DUH). I wanted to meet someone that I chat with regularly and have become friends with, all through this wonderful journey I wander called paper crafting. This has all developed ONLINE - see, the internet CAN be a good thing!
She made reservations for a great greek restaurant, Syrtaki, and we had a great time. Who is she??
PEGGY (smallpigpig for you SCSers)! What a total sweetheart, she came bearing gifts and I got more coasters (Canadians PM her on SCS if you want some - I got the rounds from her!), and it was great to SEE her. Lots of hugs went around, and now I am going to miss her *moment please* ... hehehe. No really, I totally enjoyed my evening, and 3 hours later, we finally said goodbye.
I even got to see Gail again this year ( basketballmom), and we had a blast together ALL DAY, since she was at the meeting too. Her son was also there, doing the closed circuit viewing and was very awesome! Here is the group shot.
Thanks to you ladies for the awesome evening! I can hardly wait to do it again next year.
So tomorrow, me and Andria will be cruising the mall, since we didn't get enough stuff at Mike's (sorry *flinching*) and the $ Store today. I now have a new pile of stuff to alter and TONS of ideas from the meeting. All in all a great weekend, and now it is time to hit the jacuzzi tub!
