Hiya! I'm Cristina from MB - the one who told Tanis & Tami 3trikes about this blog candy. Hehehe. I like your blog so far, Julie. You take great pics and have a great style. I always love step by step photo tutorials - great job on your first one! I love seeing favourite recipes from time to time (ie not everyday). Maybe once a week or every 2 you could dust off an old, unused set or stamps and make a new card?
Thanks for this chance! =)

Love your blog, Julie! I read several, but yours is the only one I've subscribed to. I don't want to miss a thing! I enjoy doing your Fossil Stone technique and can't wait to try the masking.

One thing that I'd really like to see more of is more links to great sites...especially updates on new products/releases. It's nice to have stuff all in one spot!
Thanks again!

I am Tamijo from winnipeg. I would like to see people's original ideas using the ever popular "coaster" I have a stash of them and am looking for fresh takes on what to do with them, so far flip chore charts and desk calendars have been the most commonly seen...done that...what would you create with them?
Posted by: Tami 3trikes | January 31, 2007 at 09:53 AM
Hi Julie - I found your blog thru Splitcoast Stampers forum. I've been loving every minute of reading it. I LOVE learning new techniques. Your tutorials are fabulishious.
I'd love to see your take on - how to use stamps beyond the "card" realm. What other mediums? Perhaps using stamps in gel paste - to create bas relief?
Posted by: Theresa Meyer | January 31, 2007 at 08:09 AM
I would love to see more of your coloring tips. I love that woman with her feet in the water. I need tips on shading to get the depth that you do. I love that stamp and won't be able to get it while it is available so I am hoping this might be my lucky day!

Hello! Looky at all the comments...good for you! (It's great that you have such a following already!)
Hmmm...I guess I don't need anything specific. I just like to see how people finish off a card...my last demo was a hobbyist so I never learned how to give my cards that extra special touch. Now when I look at cards, I like to note that special bling so I can start to incorporate those same touches with my cards. TFS!
Posted by: Allison | January 30, 2007 at 09:00 PM
Personally I would love to see your version of some stamped cards that incorporate some popup dieas. I love pop up books and cards altho I am not very good at that just yet. I keep trying.
Just located your blog...it's wonderful. Good job. I've linked it to my blog but my blog is NOT about stamping.

I'm new to your blog but already love it. I found you thru splitcoast stampers. I actually cased one of your cards this weekend and made 2 birthday cards. The card I cased was the natural beauty blue bird you did on the 18th or 19th. I did one card just like you and then another with regal rose and always artichoke in place of the mustard and old olive. I really appreciate you giving detailed instructions.
I love making cards and would like to see more of your interpretaions of the SCS challenges. Thanks!

What a great blog! I love your cards - they are an inspiration. What would I like to see on your blog? I'd like to see a nice Valentine card idea for kids, either one kids could do, or that they would like to get.
Keep up the great work!!!!

Oh my goodness, I love this set, how fabulous would that be to win this, I am new to your blog, cannot remember how I came across it, probably through somebody elses as I have just set my own up and have been having a good look at what everybody else does on theres so I love looking into everybody's lives everyday it is brilliant. As to what you could do, maybe a challenge every week, either cards or anything but a card every other week something with a specific set everyweek, starting with the set you are giving as blog candy would be good!!! Hope this helps, and have a great day, can't wait till wednesday - yipee xx

Thanks for the chance! So very cool :)
As a new stamper, I would love to see your favorite products or craft/tool companies highlighted. Or how you go about choosing the products you use. There are so many companies out there making paper, embellishments, etc - it's a bit overwhelming knowing which to buy.
I do like very much that you are descriptive in your posts.... we can learn a lot!

I recently came across your blog and so I stop by every day. I love your ideas and it gives my creativity a jumpstart.
I would like to see the multiple cuts on the edge of paper. See Winter Mini p 11 and
Sell-a-Bration p 5 (flower center). How is it done?
Great Blog Candy. Who could resist.
Thanks for sharing your ideas,

Hi! Love your blog. You seem to have a lot of varitey with your blog. One of my favorites was the coaster caddy, too cute and great use of the coasters in a new kind of way. I love seeing cards, but it is also nice to see things like altered art projects that makes me think I can do that too. ;o) I have expanded my creativity so much because of seeing what others can do and putting my own twist on it. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

Julie....you don't need to improve anything! Love it all. Try some altered art though...it is fun to make something crafty out an unexpected find. You will never look at anything the same way....I am always trying to find way to repurpose everything. Have fun!

I am amazed that you can do a new post everyday!!! I love cards and love rubber stamps, but I have become intrigued by cards that only use decorative papers and punches for the whole card. Keep doing what your doing cause I try to visit everyday!!!

What a great 'blog candy' give away! I love this set! As for what I love about your blog and what I'd like to see -- my true love is in cards. I would love to learn about digital scrapping and new techniques. I'm not sure where the limits to your talents are so it's hard for me to emphasize one particular thing. I appreciate your frequent posting and all the hard work and creativity you put into your work. Thanks for sharing and for the chance to win this great prize!

I admit it - I can't resist blog candy! I'm rather new to your blog and can't honestly tell you how I found it, I'm just glad I did! As to what I'd like to see more of on it - just more cards, maybe an "anything but a card" from time to time, and the occasional tutorial might be nice. You do such nice work and thank you for sharing it with all of us!
