You know the saying killing 2 birds with one stone? Well, that it what this card is for me! I did the sketch challenge, and I'm sending this into Stampin' Up! for a punch card contest! All products are Stampin' Up!
Sorry about the crooked picture *rolling eyes*, but hey, the card is still here! I used chocolate chip, close to cocoa, and very vanilla CS.
I sponged the cocoa base with chocolate ink to soften the edges. I used the Whirly Twirly wheel in chocolate on the vanilla and used the ticket corner on the two corners. I matted it on the cocoa and chocolate using the same punch for two corners, as well. I used my mat pack to line up the 5 aged copper brads on the side, which I sanded using my sanding blocks (I wanted a little more copper to show.)
For the cup and saucer, I punched the large oval in chocolate and the large tag in cocoa, sponging the edges. For the handle I used the small and large ovals, gluing it to the back of the cup. I stamped the flower from the Fun With Shapes set (it is actually like a bow, I stamped it 3 times). I attached this with dimensionals to the "saucer". I stamped the riveting sentiment on cocoa and punched it with the 1 1/4 circle, matted it on a chocolate circle I punched with the 1 3/8. I then punched out the center with my 1/2 circle and threaded the gingham ribbon through. To make sure the sentiment stays in place, I put dimensionals on the back.
This would make a great birthday card for a coffee (or hot chocolate) person, put a gift card inside and you are good to go. Have fun and happy stamping!!

Tag! OK, it's like a virus going around, but you've been tagged again. You should list 7 things about yourself on your blog and then go tag 7 other people. Play along if you'd like!
I really enjoy your blog -- keep up all the great inspiration!
