Do you need some, cause I dumped out a WHOLE tin, so I could alter it...LOL ! Don't worry, I saved the coffee - it was Van Houtte, after all! This one is NOT cardboard.
So anywho, I used the Petals and Paisley SU paper to cover it, and the organdy and grograin to hide the change in paper. I stamped the letters (Pure and Simple Alpha, retired) in regal rose tempting turquoise, so saffron, and old olive on white. I matted it on a piece of saffron that I had put through the cuttlebug with the textile embossing folder.
I used sticky strip for the whole thing, since it is strong enough to hold it around the curve of the tin. Since I do not have a teacher for this yet, this will be the "wrapping" for my niece's birthday gift.
About the top, you ask ??? Well, I was sent a new product to design with, and it is not ready to be released yet. Why I was picked, I'll never know, but I am SOOOO GRATEFUL for the opportunity!! So I figured, I had to tease you, so you know that you are actually missing something...ROFL!! OOOOOO - I can see the anticipation creeping in as SOON, there will be even more great stuf to BUY!
Have fun, and happy stamping - Don't hate me 'cause I have something you can' get yet...hehehe!!
evil.. real evil hahaha

What a tease!! But I am sure it will be worth it. I too dump stuff out of tins, just to stamp on them. Love your blog and talent! chris
