And read some of the 50 some emails I have gotten, so far today, I am baking bread. Have to pretend that I do some house work so my hubby won't notice that my addiction has taken over (ummm, a long time ago). I decided to answer some of the most asked questions.
Q : Why did I not mount it on EZmount foam and then use it with acrylic blocks?
A: I figured it would be a waste for ME, since the rubber already has foam on it. I didn't want to have to peel off all the foam, just to put some more on. That was just my thinking!
Q : Why did I put the stamp on the back of the dominoe and not the side edge, like the sticker?
A : When I cut the stamp, the foam and rubber part was bigger than the edge of the dominoe. I wanted a bit more stability than that, so I did it on the back. I hate stamping when it is wobbley.
Q : Why don't you use CD cases to store your unmounted stamps?
A : This question came from this post, but I figured, since I'm typing anyway..... I acutally don't want to use CD cases. I feel that I can fit WAY MORE stamps into a SU case than a CD. Also, you can cut a piece of plastic to fit inside and store your stamps on each side of that (Thanks Marie for the tip). Right now I have 16 in that case, and can probably double that!
I think I am done for now - thanks for all the uplifting compliments, y'all just MADE MY DAY!!
Friday on the way home from work I made my husband stop so we could get me a set of dominoes. It takes a bit of time, but it is wonderful. I used the method to take the mounting off the wood, because I had recently mounted the set. This will be so much easier to use this set. My demonstrator had told me that each of the lines fits in the word punch and that's why I picked the set. This will certainly make is user friendly. Thank you so much for sharing.

I have to tell you I love how you mounted them. My first thought was I have to do this! Way to go!

YOU are a genius, Julie! I love the domino idea. So, glad you shared this before I used the EZ mount for this set. Thank you! I too store my unmounted stamps in SU! cases. Not only can you fit more stamps in a case, but it just makes it easier for overall organization to have the same kind of cases.
Thanks again!!!

I too now LOVE this set. Now I have to have some sort of party so I can get it. I just thought I would tell you that, I have heard (Not tried YET) that you can take foam mounted stamps like these and attach it to plastic wrap to make them ready for acrylics. If the plastic doesn't stick, I heard to dampen the plastic wrap. I am going to try that with some I have not unmounted yet. BUT I love the Domino idea for these small (word) sets.

Hi
I just wanted to let you know that the EZ mount comes in thin so you don't have to take off the foam cushion that already comes on the SU and other stamps.
You can get it at Sunday International! Tell Gary I sent you.
You can see it on my blog. I actually did a little blurb on it yesterday.
Baking bread - save me a piece. My kids love homemade bread.
Hugs

I loved the domino idea. I had not been interested in this stamp set, but having seen what you've done with yours, I've changed my mind!!
