*love that little tool*
For those of you that read regularly, you know that saying by memory, but I truly do {heart} this product. It is so versatile and can be used on pretty much any card, from feminine to masculine and everywhere in between. So, when Julia asked me to host the Ways To Use It challenge, this is the one thing that I had to do! It comes with 4 different options in one little package, take a look here. I used the perforating blade yesterday, but for today's card, I pulled out my favorite, the distressing tool. This is what I came up with.
All products are Stampin' Up, and they are identical, except for colors and one punch.
I stamped the giraffe from Bundle of Joy with stazon brown, one on vanilla and one on white. I colored them both with close to cocoa, but one with bashful blue and the other with pretty in pink. I then used my cutter kit *love that little tool*, to distress those edges before matting them, pink on cocoa, blue on chocolate chip.
I scalloped the bottom edges with the corner rounder punch, putting dots in with my cocoa marker. I then used the double rectangle punch to weave my ribbon pink/cocoa, blue/chocolate.
I punched the scallop circle on the pink and the 1 3/8 on the blue, dotting around both with the cocoa marker. I then used the cutter kit *love that little tool* to distress the top edge. I punched the tabs with the word window punch, and added them to the card and giraffe panel with brads, pink/cocoa/pink, blue/chocolate/silver. I then glued the giraffe onto the card.
I added the panel to the base with dimensionals, and then stamped the sentiment. I watercolored the hearts, and then punched both out with my 1 1/4 circle punch. I distessed these edges also, before attaching it to the card with dimensionals. You can click on the pictures for a closer look, as with all pictures in my blog.
Hope you can play, and remember...have fun and happy stamping!!

I love all of the cards you make.
I just wish I can challenge myself to create on my own.
Keep up with the good work!
