Isn't it "lovely"?? I mean, except for the COMPLETELY CROOKED sentiment...LOL
Well, this was the third time I had tried it and I was done, couldn't find my stamp-a-ma-jig and it was for a hostess that night! Other than that, though, I really like it. All products are Stampin' Up!, unless I note otherwise.
I made the tote out of bashful blue, using this template here <-----CLICK. I then added the charbon DP (loving that stuff), and then all in a row stamp to "sew" the edges with basic grey. OK, seriously, I have got to {virtual hug} Beate for that idea!!
I punched the oval first using this tutorial (video coming soon *wink*), and then I added the dots with the black marker in each scallop. I then created an oval mask to stamp the dill on it with grey, adding the sentiment after both from Garden Silhouettes. I didn't want it to look like dill, though, so I added Tulip Puffy paint (Walmart) or Liquid Applique at All That Scraps, to make it look more like a flower.
Here is a close up of what it looks like. Doesn't it look so cool?? Makes you want to touch it, as everyone did there that night...LOL. I added it with dimensionals to the white oval, cut out with my coluzzle. I then added strips of grey taffeta ribbon with knots on the ends and put the image panel over it. I used the jumbo pewter eyelets to the side, and strung the bashful ribbon through it for my handle. Makes me want to make another for myself...hehehe. Have fun and happy stamping!!
your work is really amazing !

I think that sentiment was supposed to look that way! At least that's the way it appears to me :)
I love that stamp set. The more I see with it, the more I want it. I keep resisting but this sample just might push me over the edge!
Lovely!

I'll be getting the Garden Silhouettes hostess set soon. Love how you used the liquid applique on this card. I know I will need to practice a lot when I apply it.
As always your work is beautiful

Rule #9 >>
NEVER admit to making a mistake.
You MEANT to apply the sentiment that way because it adds flair.
Tomorrow we will all be putting our sentiments askew.
Love the card
