Quick Post

I have a quickie to share with you , and then I'm off to bed.  I'll give you deets and some pictures of my weekend retreat tomorrow, but for now, it's just the card.

I used the soon to be released set from CC Designs, Lulu's Sweet Treats, over at All That Scraps.

I stamped her with basic black on Bazzil coconut smoothies (white), and colored her in with, ummmmm, COPICS!!  I KNOW!!  AmyR was at my retreat this weekend, and brought them with her for me to experiment with.  I made 3 cards with them, and enjoyed working with them, but they are soooo not in my budget.  I digress, back to the card.

I punched the corners of the white and real red, matting them together.  I then added another layer of white with no punching.  For the base of the card I have black, red and the Dashing DP from Stampin' Up!

I added some unbelievable black velvet ric rac from ATS (Amy let me snag some - thanks girlfriend ).  I stamped the sentiment from the same set, and added the black brads (SU) on the bottom, before putting the image on with dimensionals.  You can't see it in the picture, but her candy cane and tongue are covered with the Sakura Stardust pen - SO SPARKLAY!

It was a great weekend, the food was amazing, and all the ladies were awesome!, Yep, I'm wanna do that again.  Have a great day, have fun and happy stamping!!
