OOOOO - You are going to me...hehehe. I wanted something a little harder this week, to get you thinking. So, here is my card.
And here are your colors for JCC03 :
- wild wasabi
- bordering blue
- pumpkin pie
I inked up the flower sprig from Garden Silhouettes (retired) with my markers, stamping it on vanilla CS. I sponged the edges with blue, and added the sentiment from Spring Song in black. This was matted on pumpkin and blue, and then on a strip of wasabi that had been distressed with my cutter kit *love that little tool*.
I stamped the paisley BG on blue in the same ink, and sponged those edges, as well. I then faux stitched around it with my night of navy marker, and matted it on wasabi. I put the ribbon around the strip, and through the loopy brad and then adhered the image panel to the card and securing the brad. Remember to put the keyword JCC03 in your uploads on SCS, or link back to this post, so we can all check out what you have done. Also, if you do not have these exact colors, feel free to substitute, so you can play along.

Julie: I love this color combo and it worked great with the "For Father" set. Thanks for the inspiration...here is mine.

I will have it linked on SCS shortly...it's really late and I need to be in bed. Ahh, for the love of stamping!

Grrr, more orange to contend with. But it makes for fabulous Monarch butterflies on my card: http://stampmom.blogspot.com/2008/02/wild-butterflies.html

Interesting combination but I like it; I think it might be easier for me than JCC #2, lol. I'm still trying to figure that one out. And, I missed JCC #1 so I have to look that one up. I hope to get in on the challenge soon.

Fabulous card! Makes me want to get "that little tool".
I don't own any of these colours so will have to wait for my weekly stamping night to try out this combo!
Thanks - this is soooo fun.

This is really nice. The colors go so well together. Love all the great details, especially the way you did the ribbon.

LOve the way you put the ribbon on your card and the card itself of course!

I love that color combination! The retired hostess scrapbook set had similar colors (pumpkin pie, blue bayou, soft sky, and wild wasabi). I just made a card yesterday for a birthday (forgot to take a picture), but used blue bayou instead of bordering blue...I will try to reproduce it this afternoon!! LOVE those colors!
