OK - 40 cards due by the end of the month. I started them on the first of the month, not the stamping, but the idea process. I also ordered my stamps on this day. I wait till I get back from Jamaica, and they still are not here, but get here the following Monday - YAY. Now, I still let the ideas roll in my head.
And after I cut the paper, I let my brain rest, I mean, seriously, cutting 20 sheets of CS into 4 pieces each is alot of work. The next day, I cut some more CS for the layers, and mats, etc, and another break. Man, stamping can be such hard work. Oops, haven't stamped yet.
So then I realize that maybe, I should get them done, so one night I do all the stamping, till like 2 in the morning, *woot woot*. Just assembly left to do, that should go by fast.
Soon, I realize that I only have 5 days to get them there, so I work my butt off (actually it is still very noticeable), and realize that assembly does not go all that fast with 40 cards.
Off I go to the Post Office to get them mailed.
This is what procrastination costs - SIXTY FREAKIN' DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!! That is just to mail them there, not what I paid to make them, and all the supplies that went into it. Did, I learn from it?? Probably not...hehehe.
WOW! Lot's of hard work in cutting so much paper and the money in postage!!!!! Did you use the BIA DreamKuts to cut your paper or a good ole paper trimmer?

You are too funny! I cracked up over the drama injected into your little story here LOL That's a stiff price to pay for procrastination, yet we always do it at one time or another:) Life is great in spite of it though eh? Amen :)

Sounds like me! I was in a swap with a bunch of friends in Iowa, (I live in Kansas City), and inevitable everytime, my SIL would call and ask if I had mailed them yet. I don't think they were ever late, but JUST IN TIME!!! I feel your pain!

I'm so feeling your procrastination pain. I was up till 2 am last night finishing a job for 60 invitations and 60 reply cards for a birthday party. In the end, I always tell myself, "At least it's done"! :)

I have never had to pay 60.00, but with some SCS swaps I didn't realize how long it would take, so I had to expedite them at a cost of 25.00 or so.

Poor Julie. Luckily my procrastination has not cost me that much. Let this be a lesson learned....Not.
