Three of us tried your technique today. Loved it but also discovered some additional hints. In most cases place 2 sheets of CS between the A & B plates before rolling A2 folder through. This alleviated the smears one sometimes gets in areas you don't want ink (i.e. the Heart Block folder.) Also run the sandwich through & then reverse the roll & run it through backwards. Also tried brayering using Kalidicolor pads. Neat effect. Thanks for your video.

Love the look, and ease with which you did this. But, I have a stupid question...how do you clean your brayer after you do this?
Thanks!

Oooh...I love that! I just got my cuttlebug last week and that is a FABULOUS way to use it. It looks so pretty. Thanks for all you teach us. Nice to hear your voice at last. Sorry I haven't been posting as much as usual. I was recovering from surgery for the past few weeks and had little time to browse the posts and such. sure did miss ya!

I see this has already been asked, but can't see an answer yet, so ...
What kind of ink is used in the project?
Brand, type, etc.
Posted by: Tami | March 19, 2008 at 08:46 PM
That was a great tutorial. I saw a card on SCS with this technique and was directed here for the tutorial. So easy and such beautiful results.
Can't wait to try it.

Thanks for the tutorial, Julie. Not only did I get to see a great technique, but the bonus of seeing a Cuttlebug in action. Got to get one of those babies one day!!! Oh, and the baby wipe clean-up. Genius!!! I will have to add them to my supply box. For now I will use them to clean off my stamp-a-ma-jig.

Thanks for the video! I've read about this technique on SCS but I haven't tried it yet. And I didn't know about using a brayer to apply the color. The past several weeks I actually had been debating on whether I should purchase a brayer but finally decided I didn't need one well now that has changed, lol! I think I will purchase one now, lol!
Posted by: Elaine | March 19, 2008 at 08:04 AM
Wow.. this is a great idea! Love the brayer for more even coverage too. I can't wait to show this to my stampers' group! Thanks for your phenomenal video!
