I finally got my swap cards back!! Hubby picked up the mail on Friday, and at around 5:00pm, I opened my wonderful package. I took pictures of all the cards, in groups of the stamp set. It is amazing to me, how we used the same sets, but came up with VERY DIFFERENT cards. I'll show mine swap set first.
I wish I could say I created the one with the elegant bride, but Yvette masterminded that one. Isn't it GORGEOUS!! Mine is the girl loving life, with her cuppa and pup.
I embossed her using versamark and clear EP on kraft paper. Everything was matted in black, the ticket corner was used on the image panel, and faux stitching around the base. I used 6 punches on this card, and 4 alone were for the sentiment. It had the 1" circle on the white, small oval in kraft, and designer label with black. The sentiment is shadow stamped with sahara and black. After gluing these all together, I used my 1/16 punch to put the brads through. I punched a hole with my 1/4 circle and threaded the ribbon through it. This was all matted to the base, and the sentiment added with dimensionals.
I haven't heard anything bad about my swap, so I hope they all like it. I am going to post all the cards in the next few days, so you can see what everyone came up with. Have fun and happy stamping!!
I loved this set the first time I saw it and now just seeing these two cards reminds me that I NEED it! Love both of these cards and always appreciate your great instructions on what you do.

The wedding card is beautiful, love the white and light blue combo.
Your card is so cool, I love the black against the kraft paper, will have to give that a try! Neat layering on the tag!
