ETA : I will be giving away this card, and every concoction card after this date, to those that play along. Just make a card or project with the colors and link it back here to be entered!!
Alright, let's get to it, since I am a bit late this morning. I stamped the card last night, but ended up getting some company, and had a really good visit. Hence the later post, since I had to finish it all up this morning.
- handsome hunter
- soft sky
- pretty in pink
I also used Jen's sketch HERE for my layout, since it ROCKS! My base is hunter, followed by the pink that was distressed with my cutter kit *love that little tool*. The card measures 3 X 6, with the layers 1/8 smaller each time.
The next two layers are hunter and some sky Prints DP. The I added the horizontal hunter strips, and tied the pink ribbon around it.
I stamped the birthday girl from the new set She's All That, totally {heart} this set, in hunter on white, and then cut it out with my Coluzzle. I then used my Tutorial Here (Or Video) to get the scalloped edges. I sponged the edges in pink, and then used my hunter marker to make the dots in each scallop. This was added to the card with dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment on the sky layer, and ROYALLY messed it up, so I stamped it again on pink, punching it out with my 1" circle. I then cut the top off and layered it over the mistake. I added a jewel brad, and now I think it look better than it would've before!! There is no such things as mistakes in stamping, they just give you a license to be creative. To make using the sentiments in this set easier, I cut them apart from the image, and attached them to the bottom of the block, so I can place them where I want them.
Remember to use the keyword JCC05 in your uploads at SCS, so we can all find them. You can also link back to here from your blog, so we can all check out what you've created. Have fun and happy stamping!!

I'm away from home so won't be able to try this one until next weekend. Looks like an interesting one so I look forward to trying it! Another great card - thanks for the inspiration. Have a great week!

What a great card! This set is on my wishlist! I really like the tall cards and forget to make them. I'm in an A2 card-size rut. Thanks for the inspiration!
