I wanted some colors for today's concoction that were cheerful and perfect for spring. This is the card I made from the BG in my Cuttlebug Ink Embossing Video.
The colors for JCC07 are :
- ballet blue
- barely banana
- white
The base is banana, with the cuttlebug BG on top. The next banana layer was scalloped with the slit punch, and then added another piece. That layer was stamped with the flower sprig from Friendship Blossoms (SAB). I also used my white gel pen to dot each of the scallops. I then added the ribbon across the seam, and tied in a scrap of white.
The image was stamped from the Priceless set, in banana and ballet, adding the sentiment from Birthday Whimsy (SAB) in ballet, as well. I stitched around the edge with my ballet marker, before matting it on banana and ballet CS, then added it to the card. I lengthened my tab from the word window punch, and used the brad to adhere it to the image panel. I then used the white gel pen for the stitching.
Come play along!! There is no time limit to get it done, except if you want a chance to win this card. Then you need to post a picture of your card, and post back here by Wednesday. Use the keyword JCC07 when you upload to SCS, so we can all see what you've created.

I pray that all of you will enjoy your Easter Sunday, have fun and happy stamping!!
So fresh and Spring-y, Julie--great job!

Nice springy color combo Julie. I combined it with the Featured Stamper on SCS to come up with a card at http://stampmom.blogspot.com/
Thanks!

Julie, I took the plunge and ordered some su markers. I got tired of not being able to do color challenges and your color concoction. I want to play too! LOL! I have looked at your "No Copic's NO problem" a zillion times. I sure hope I can get the hang of it. I have been using prismas until now. I may have withdrawls from my prismas, so I am not giving them up totally!
Wish me Luck! Thanks for all of your blog do dads!

Hi Julie,
Hope you had a great Easter! I was wondering what BG stood for? I have the cuttlebug, but I am not very good with Abreviations...LOL
Thankyou,
Dawnn
