Just had to show you what I spent yesterday taking pictures of...
These 5 Canadian Geese were playing in the puddles along side our driveway, and 2 of them seem to have taken up residence. I wouldn't mind, since seeing the new gosling's in a couple months would be sooooo awesome - and cute!!
And then in the evening, there was a group of 10 deer that wandered through our backyard (OK - field). They got pretty close to the house, and I could tell one was in labor. They went to the bush though, for the night and she probably had it in there. Yep, I can't think of any other neighbors that I would rather have right now!!
Your photos are absolutely beautiful. Here in VA we have the geese come in our yard from the water in front of our house but we sure don't like the geese poop!!

Nature is wonderful. We had a very proud pheasant and as DH said, he is worth stuffing (and not with bread) as he was a real looker. Deer used to wander by before it got developed around here. Loved watching her fawns play around. Must say, the one thing I don't miss is my flowers getting eaten by the deer!!

Beautiful pictures. I'd love to live somewhere where I could look out my window and see that.

Enjoy your new neighbours!

Julie, This is just too precious! We don't have geese but we feed the deer at our place. It is sooo much fun to watch the fawns grow up!

Oh, what wonderful neighbors you have!! We have 20 acres in NE, USA, and we LOVE all the wildlife. Isn't it GREAT?? I'm with you, it sure beats (some) people! I like having privacy...it's awesome. Keep the pictures coming, I LOVE seeing them. Sometimes the geese stop in our field, and I love them...they fly over a lot, too! By the hundreds! :)

WE LIVE ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF THE CITY AND USED TO SEE PICTURES LIKE THAT 9WE HAD WILD TURKEY, FOXES, RACCOONS AND EVEN ONE BEAR) UNTIL SOMEONE DECIDED THAT THEY COULD MAKE A LOT OF MONEY PUTTING IN HOUSES AND SO WENT THER WILDLIFE. IT IS JUST NOT THE SAME ANYMORE AND WE MISS THE ANIMALS!

You are a very lucky lady! I sure wish I had those neighbors. Do you have several acres? I can't remember what you said.
