The challenge today was to use eyelets on our card or project, and I chose to do the later. I made myself an attache case for my business cards!
I just took a piece of close to cocoa CS, and used the retired Dry Brush wheel in chocolate chip to give it a leathery look. I then sponged the front flaps with chocolate, attached some strips of CS to make it look more realistic, and adding faux stitching in black. I added a hodge podge buckle to hold the ribbon, so you could tie it shut.
And here is where the eyelets come in : I used the 1/8 punch in the top, and added the eyelets with my crop-a-dile. I threaded the ribbon through, and used sticky strip on the inside to keep the ribbon from pulling through.
I have to work at preschool today, so I gotta get my kids ready. Have fun and happy stamping!!
This is so adorably cute! I made one myself with the template you posted, thanks for sharing it with us!! You do great work!
