I ran across this image that I had colored awhile ago (No Copics, No Problem) and decided to make it into a card.
I used not quite navy, river rock, always artichoke, and white CS, as well as watercolor paper.
I matted the white on artichoke and used my All In A Row stamp set to make the stitches on the edge in the coordinating ink. I tied on the bayou stitched ribbon and matted it on the navy base. This was first sponged with the coordinating ink - isn't that a bonus with Stampin' Up!, everything is perfectly matched to work together!!
My image is the girl from Summer by the Sea, and I sponged over a scallop circle to get the sky around her. I matted it onto river rock and then onto the card. I punched artichoke with the label designer punch and added it to the card. I added a new piece of the Stylized Silver Hodge Podge out of the Occasions Mini. I stamped two words from Everyday Flexible phrases in navy on the river rock, and then punched it out with my 1" circle. I sponged the edges and then added it to the card with dimensionals.
I really like how this "scrap" piece turned into such an elegant card - hope you like it. Have fun and happy stamping!!
How beautiful! I have this stamp and haven't pulled it out in forever! Wow your card is so pretty I may have to dust mine off and try it out!

Thanks for making me not feel as though I needed to purchase another item. Seeing all the techniques with copic markers made me want them too (lol), I already own the Stampin Up markers. Using your tutorial will be helpful. The card is actually beautiful.

I love finding a long lost scrap and turning it into a card. It's like 1/2 of the work is already done! Sometimes, I'll have a card making day and force myself just to use my scrap box. It's a great way to whittle it down and forces some creative thinking!
