I made this card for my class the other night, and I really loved the colors, so I had to make it this weeks challenge! And guess what, ANYONE can play along, there is no time limit, and I will send this card to one of you who do!!
I know this card is fairly simple, but I really like the elegance of it. Your JCC09 colors are :
- ruby red
- always artichoke
- river rock
I stamped the rose from Embrace Life on watercolor paper 3 times with black stazon. I colored them using my No Copics No Problem Tutorial (Or Video), and then cut it out using my Out Of The Box Tutorial. I matted it on artichoke and rock.
The base of my card is artichoke with ruby on the bottom. I stamped the sentiment (Sincere Salutations) in black, and then tied the ribbon around the seam. I added the 3 gold brads using the mat pack for placement and finally added my image panel with dimensionals.
If you don't have these colors feel free to substitute, so you can still play along. When you upload your card to SCS, please use the keyword JCC09, so we can check them out! Or if you put it on a blog, leave a link to here, and that way all of them will be included in the draw for this card!

I'm not sure if the link will work - but I just uploaded my challenge card on SCS! Great inspiration for a card I really didn't want to make (mt dear friend is moving out of state). So we're saying - not goodbye - just.... Later!
Thanks Julie! And I will be casing your card for sure! Love it (I WILL learn your out of box technique. Great video... now if I could just learn to cut!
