Rachele Funk

I went to the store and bought fresh strawberries today! I'm so excited to have this for Sunday evening dessert! Thanks for sharing the recipe and how it looks so I know if ours comes out right!

Julie (Joypup on SCS)

Hey Julie! Your boys are awesome... love your photos (and that recipe? Girl, we gotta talk!)

Anyway -- we have these cool knives -- plastic with serrated edges. You can find them in the produce section, since they are used to "slice" lettuce without browning the edges... I saw them used in a kid's cooking class, so I bought some. My not yet two-year-old chopped all the bread and mushrooms for Thanksgiving stuffing last year!

Seriously -- the slicer you use is awesome, but when they want another version, a knife, you might seek these out... they are GREAT.
Here is a link to one: ours is a little different, but same idea.

Hope this helps someone out there ;^)*
Keep having fun -- love your blog!

ADORABLE!!!! And Yes! I want some!

I grew up eating Platz, but my Mom only made Apple Cinnamon or Plum. I will definately try the strawberry, it sounds yummy. Thanks so much for sharing, your cards are wonderful.

Wow, I love the Platz. I just made a Blueberry Platz for "Survivor" Dessert! It was delious! By the way, what is BRAK and RAK? I see it all the time, but do not know what it is.

Karen (stampin3)

I am definitely going to try this dessert - it looks delicious!! now to find strawberries that look halfway decent here!

So adorable - what good helpers they are. Might have to try that platz. Looks so good.
I love your little face animations - too funny!

I made your fruit platz last night for my family and I have to say two thumbs up! My dh loved it so much he tried to eat the whole thing but I wouldn't let him. Thanks for the great recipe as well as all of the great inspiration you provide everyday!

Diane Lapointe

Sweet! Now they can say that they made a desert!! Kids are so proud when they get to help aren't they!!

(Chuckle/s) You ate the whole thing !! This is too funny, a girl after my own heart lol!
Oh by the way I love your stamping !

This is SO cute! I love how you let them help you! I know sometimes you don't need their "help" but they, somehow, always remember when you do! My kids still talk about different times like this! I won't say how old they are since I'll always be 29 (long as I can anyway!)

Bravo boys..........great job helping mom. You have made me so hungry Julie. Just might have to make this recipe. Sounds so yummy. Did you have any while looking at it? Would have loved some hot with ice cream on TY for all the great ideas you come up with. Love to open up your site everyday. Your boys are just too cute. I had two boys 1year and 11 mos. apart. They are still best friends at age 32 and 34. Luv, evette
