Sorry this is only on today. I had a huge day yesterday, with my final class of the catalog year ending my evening. It is hard for me to say good-bye to my regular stamping buddies, that time is something I look forward to every month. I can hardly wait to get started again in September! So, now on to the tutorial.
You need a piece of CS 12 X 4 1/4. I used the textured soft sky, since I didn't want to have to try and line up a BG stamp.
Then you need to score it at 1, 6 1/2 an 6 3/4.
This is optional, but on the 1 inch flap end, you can use the corner rounder to make yourself a scalloped edge. Start in the center, so you scallops will balance out on each end.
On the other end, you need to center a Nesties Die on your CS, and run it through the cuttlebug (Tutorial). This can also be done with a craft knife, if you don't have the other tools.
Now, back to the other end. You need to add a piece of ribbon under the 1 inch flap, long enough that you can tie it in the front. Take a stapler and staple the ribbon, and the flap down, but don't go to far in. You need to be able to tuck the other end of the card in there to hold it shut.
Now, you can fold on all you score lines, and see how it turned out. When you tie the ribbon in the front, it will cover the staple, so you don't have to worry about people seeing that! You can add anything to the inside. How about a hot chocolate package with a cup stamp on the outside? HERE is my finished one, again. Have fun and happy stamping!!
How cute! Thank you for taking the time to show us your project. Love to look at your blog EVERY day. :)

Oh my goodness what are you going to do with all that time on your hands (wink-wink) how you put everything you do altogether I will never know. But thanks so much for your neat tutorials and great ideas for cards. MaryAnn
