I wanted to do another sketch flip, since I found a really cool technique to make paper roses. I started sketch flips, so you could use the same layout, paper, and techniques, but get 2 different cards by flipping the layout. Here are the cards :
I call it a classic, because this card is perfect for EVERY occasion, birthday, shower, anniversary, wedding, etc. I used bashful blue, mellow moss, and white CS. The only stamping is the sentiments, done in bashful ink. The techniques I used were tearing and piercing. Now, here is the sketch for you to flip.
So, now get to work and make a couple cards for your stash. So that we can all see the results in one spot, use the keyword JSF03 to your upload on SCS. There is no time limit or anything, these are just posted to give you some ideas on how to increase your creativity.
I am in the midst of creating a video tutorial for the roses. I was halfway through TWICE, but my boys came barging in telling my this and that about the kitties. So, now that they are napping, I can finish in peace.
Remember to have fun and happy stamping!!
Thanks for yor great sketch and card!

Both are simply gorgeous. I just tried sort of tearing the paper to look like a rose but it looks pretty crude - I think a step beyond shabby chic! Can't wait to see how you did them. Meanwhile, a piece of fancy lace that is tea dyed may save it. An elderly woman from our church is a bit under the weather and I think she would still like it - I can blame it on the dog as she will figure I was walking the dog and left it for her as a surprise. It helps to have a huge dog in these cases! :)
Again, thanks for all your creativity!
