I still have not gotten my Sweet Treat card kit from All That Scraps, but I went ahead with some cards using some supplies I had on hand (that actually leaves a lot to choose from...hehehe). All the stamps, and the card kit will be available HERE at 10:00pm EST tonight. There is also going to be a release party in the forum tonight, so come come and join us! Now for the cards...
First a cutie that you already know! Doesn't he look great with his tongue hanging out of his mouth, enjoying that creamy goodness?
I stamped him on CC Designs white CS, colored him in with my markers, and sponged the sky. I didn't have a Coluzzle (SU) circle the right size, so I traced around a embellie container. I cut it out and matted it on some American Crafts DP that I had punched with my giga scallop circle.
I made a base of white, and added the striped DP (American Crafts) across the front. I put the sentiment on the bottom and the ribbons across it. I added the piercing to the top, before attaching the image with dimensionals.
Now, I am going to introduce you to someone new.
Can you say "Awwwwww". This teddy is the newest animal to join the ranks of being a stamp with CC Designs. Doncha just want to cuddle him/her?
I did everything the same as the other card, but changed out the ribbon and the sentiment.
Oh yeah, and I used Liquid Applique for the ice cream. If you click on the picture, you can see it all raised and looking real. I just love the effect of LA on a card, just gives it a little more dimension.
Hope to see you tonight over at ATS, have fun and happy stamping!!
Holly is so right Julie...If I had even 1 % of your talent I would be happy. Love the monkey so much I had to buy it. Is the LA you applied to that card already pink or red (which ever) or did you use reinkers to color it? Still have to use that stuff on one of my creations. Congrats on the two great work of art cards. How do I go about getting those kits from ATS?????? Thanks. evette
