I love your card! I decided to give this challenge a try. You can see it on my blog:
I even used your paper torn roses on it. I love making those. My scan doesn't show the details very well of my Linen backgrounder on the navy, but you'll get the idea. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Yay, I finally had a chance to participate in one of your color concoctions!!

Here's my card:

Hey Julie!
This was a gorgeous color combo! I had a hard time picking out an image that would do it justice, but eventually found one. I posted this to both my blog and SCS.
Have a great day!

Hi there,

I look forward to getting your Blog every day and am never disappointed!!! This card is awesome. I'm going to have to try some liquid applique - you made is sound easy! Thanks again for all you share!

This is the most gorgeous card! I love Queen Anne's Lace, anyway, and I really like the simplicity of this. I can't remember seeing ribbon used in this fashion and it's fabulous. Of all the remarks I've seen about Liquid Applique I don't remember reading anything of it's penchant for absorbing ink fact, I thought one must wait for it to dry before heating it. As you can tell, I haven't ever tried it...yet! Very helpful info...TFS
