I made a little feed bag for a little bird lover. I stamped Olivia on watercolor paper with black stazon and colored her with my new technique (tutorial coming today!) I used the SugarPlum scenery set to stamp the grass in artichoke, and sponged celery on to fill it with color. I added a flower in her hand (2 different stamps!), and then sponged in the sky.
I stamped one of the birds in the air, but the rest were cut out and popped up. The feed on the ground is actually gold colored mini beads. I then matted it on perfect plum CS, and put it on the pouch I made for the sunflower seeds. The bag for my seeds is just a 3 X 5 cellophane bag from Stampin' Up! Here is the template for the bag, if you so chose to make one.
I scalloped the 1 inch edge, and this became the flap. I punched holes with my 1/4 circle and threaded the ribbon through. This even goes through the seed bag, so when you untie it, the bag is free. The way you can use it for something else and it won't be wrecked from staples. Make sure you check out the ATS Blog for more samples and give-aways. Have fun and happy stamping!!
Oh the girl is just adorable and so are those sweet birds, too cute!
