Here is the finished project I told you about HERE. Remember the first box I made? I sure got A LOT of comments on it, and one request! I was asked to make a friend of mine one, and her colors were red and silver. Ronna, this is for you, if you like it!!
I altered the chipboard letters (Stampin' Up!) like in the tutorial I mentioned earlier. I used a red vellum (WorldWin Paper) to cover the box, so that the pattern would still show through. I scalloped the edge with the new punch from Stampin' Up!, and dotted each scallop with my silver gel pen. I added the black strip of CS and the red grosgrain, as well as the silver brads for some extra bling.
The months were made with the Just Rite Stamper I got from All That Scraps. They were then layered on silver vellum (WWP) and then on real red CS. The word "Birthday" (Happy Everything ~ Stampin' Up!) is stamped on each divider, so you can write the date and name for each month. This box is very empty, since I am not the one filling it up, this time. Hope you like it, have fun and happy stamping!!
The chipboard letters look fabulous with the red and black!
