Really, it was SOOOO easy!! The sparkly butterfly from THIS POST, I mean. But for those that asked, here is the tutorial *happy dance*.
Supplies :
I got out my Versamark ink pad, Iridescent Ice embossing powder, a Martha Stewart butterfly punch, some black CS, and a coffee filter. You will also need a heat tool, but I did not add it to the picture.
I use the coffee filter for some of my embossing powder. I only use it with the ones that have glitter in them, since glitter sticks so much to everything. This way, the glitter doesn't get into all my other embossing powders from the powder pal tray.
Step By Step :
First, cut a piece of CS a bit bigger than the punch that you will be using. Remember, you can use any punch, any color CS to make whatever your heart desires!! Then "smoosch" (technical term ) it into the top of the versamark pad. Make sure you have good coverage and big enough of an area to punch through.
Now you pour on your embossing powder and heat it up. Finally, after it is cooled, you punch the embossed area with your chosen shape. Truly easy and a great way to make your own embellishments, customized to your own project! Have fun and happy stamping!!
That is awesome! Thank you for the tip!
