Isn't it a beauty? Totally worth waiting for, huh !?!
OK - the card base is a delectable embossed base from ... drum roll please ...Micheals $1 ($1.50 in Canada) bin. You get 8 5.5 cards WITH envelopes. There were about 6 different kinds, but I bought 10 packages of this one. I think it makes the most gorgeous base for an elegant card.
I added a layer of ribbon (it came from around a housecoat I bought...smirk), and then attached the soft sky scallop square (Nestabilities from All That Scraps) with dimensionals. After that, I attached the silver ribbon (WalMart) over the CS.
I stamped the flower from A Rose Is A Rose (Stampin' Up!) with soft sky, and the leaves with mellow moss on white. Then I stamped the sentiment with silver Encore ink. I made it myself using my JustRite rectangle block, and the Trompe and Brayton fonts. I then embossed it with clear EP, before matting it on the moss CS.
This was adhered to the card with dimensionals, as well, and I added the silver bow to the edge. I then took my Angel Wings Shimmerz and completely covered the rose. It is so pretty and sparkly, I wish you could see it!
Well, I have to jet, I need to get ready for a bridal shower! Have fun and happy stamping!!
A beautifully elegant card!

Julie, Thanks for the heads up on those cards. I went to our Michael's and bought 9 packages for $1 plus I had a 20% off my entire order of regular priced items so got them for $.80 a package. They are gorgeous cards and heck for that price the envelope is worth $.10. Thanks again. Jackie
